Día de los Muertos: Altar Class

Día de los Muertos: Altar Class

Join Dani for a meaningful evening exploring the history, traditions, and symbolism of Día de los Muertos and learning how to create an altar to honor and remember those who have passed.

Dani will walk through the five days of observance and what each day represents, along with the meaning behind the different elements traditionally placed on an altar. You’ll learn how an altar is created, what its offerings symbolize, and how these traditions provide a beautiful way to keep the memory of loved ones present.

As part of the class, you’ll also create a personalized memorial altar candle honoring someone you have lost (person or pet). Prior to booking, email a photo of your loved one to admindanibsbuttons@gmail.com. Dani will turn the photo into a sticker for your candle, which you’ll create during class and take home to place on your own altar.

Your $40 registration includes all materials needed to create your memorial candle.

Please register by Thu, Oct 22nd so Dani has time to prepare your personalized sticker.
