What’s not to love about Cinnamon Leaf? It brings an impeccably warm, spicy aroma into your space, similar to Cinnamon Bark and Clove. Taking in this pleasant scent can help exhilarate the senses or combat seasonal illnesses. Like many warm smells, Cinnamon Leaf is a perfect contender for getting in the holiday spirit. For many years, Cinnamon Leaf has also been used as part of a cleaning blend or to help soothe aching pains associated with aging.
How to Use
Cinnamon Leaf's distinct, long-lasting aroma makes this a perfect oil for passive diffusion. Add to your passive diffuser or potpourri, like dried pinecones and herbs.
Aromatic: Diffuse using 1-2 drops per 100 mL of water.
Topical: Dilute to a maximum of 0.6% in a carrier.
This essential oil can be a potential skin irritant if too much is applied topically. To use safely, a 0.6% dilution in a carrier oil is recommended, which is approximately one drop per ounce of carrier oil. You can also dip a toothpick in Cinnamon Leaf, then swirl it around in your carrier oil or essential oil blend to impart its warm, spicy qualities.
